Hi, I fancy a BMW 135i, can't stretch to the newer DCT versions but due to the nature of 80% of my driving I'd prefer an auto of the torque converter era. I understand the N54 egine is easily tunable so was look at a remap.

I seem to remember something about torque converters having problems with rolling road remaps, I might be miss remembering but can anyone clarify this for me please? Also any other tuning optons if this is the case? Thanks J

Angel tuning near banbury remapped my auto 335i without going on a rolling road, simply uploaded their new map via the obd port. Went from 300 to 360bhp with no other mods needed (though turns out the coils couldnt keep up with the new power above 6000rpm)
That's brillo. Sorry I'm not very technically endowed, what to you mean by "(though turns out the coils couldnt keep up with the new power above 6000rpm)" and what did you do about it please?
