2019 X5 v Velar D300

Hi,
We’re considering a new 30d X5 M-Sport, drove one over the weekend and was very impressed.
The other half has always wanted a Range Rover and would like the Velar D300.
Has anyone considered either or even owned the Velar previously?
Would be really interested to hear thoughts?
Oh.......and Grey or White?
