“ Winter is coming “
Discussion
I have a set of winter wheels and tyres which fitted my older car, 2017 335d X-drive without the m sport brakes. I now have a 2018 335d X-drive with the sport brakes and 19 inch wheels and was told the winter wheels I have won’t fit.
My winter wheels are 7 1/2 J x 17. ET 37. Tyres 225/50 R17.
I’ve checked all the wheel calculator sites but no mention is made of the larger brakes. Basically do they fit or not? Any help in this much appreciated.

I’d hoped not to take off the wheels as I would need to take off two of them as they are staggered. According to the calculator the front is 5.3mm away from the strut and sticks out 7.3mm less. The rear is 22.7 mm away from the strut and sticks out 2.7 mm less. As stated I would rather know if it’s worth my while trying to put them on before I have to. Thanks for your help.
I changed the car from a estate to a saloon mostly to get the upgraded brakes and a better sound system. It worked out cheaper buying another car than putting add ons on. I am 65 with a touch of arthritis and find it difficult to change wheels but manage. I don’t have a jack in the car but do have a trolley jack in my garage. I didn’t realise that so many people knew me as I’ve no idea who they are. Thanks to the people who helped and those who didn’t.
