Just got a call from an auth dealer in Kent that they have crashed my //ZM Coupe as they were warming the car for a diff oil change.
Not sure that I believe them, but they said that they will repair it. Will see what happens.

Thanks all.

They said it’s being taken to a auth repair shop, so I’ll try and check it.

I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more. Whenever I pick my M135i up from the dealer the efficient dynamics shows it’s put into sports+ straight away.
I hope the damage isn’t too bad. Don’t get fobbed off, go and see it as it is now.
Thanks.
They appear to be open about it. I'll try and see it soon.

Is it a Z3M out of interest? As in; no traction control
Yes.
I don't really buy their story, "Experienced tech was driving 30 miles per hour.." But it was wet. They should have been very careful.

100% I would be wanting to get my own images and assessment of any damage before I let someone work on it. That way you can effectively assess any repair work afterwards. They better not be billing you for the service either now!
Not sure how I can get my assessment done as they are an auth dealer.
Agree that the service should be free.

I'd be getting the repair done at a different main dealer. No way I'd let them do it.
Not sure how that would work.

30 mph sounds a bit unbelievable

I think you really need to inspect the car in the flesh ASAP then take it from there.

Don't let them refuse your inspection if they claim H&S, off site location blah blah blah

It is YOUR property NOT theirs
Yes, will try today.

Was the tech Paddy McGuinness if he crashed it at 30mph?

On a more serious, not sorry to hear that. I agree with the others that I'd want to see the extent of the damage first. I'm sure that all of the faster cars get thoroughly 'enjoyed' by the techs when they get tested.

Hope you manage to get it fixed.
Thanks. Emailed their customer service this morning, not heard anything back yet.
Will give them until midday before I reach out to bmw Uk.

Thanks for the comments. Just spoken to them and car is going to the body shop. They said that they will send me all the details so that I can inspect it there.

Will let you know!

No disrespect, but you sound like a right melt. Everyone on this thread has told you to get down there and take a look. You on the other hand "have sent an email and will reach out to customer services".

Put your big boy pants on and get down there. Judge for yourself.
thanks, very helpful and respectful tone.

From the contual put downs and jokes made of my situation, I've decided not to post on here anymore. I really hope that this scenario does not happen to another enthusiast.
