On the off chance you have a M52TUB28, you can fit the M54B30 inlet manifold to them, but you need to retain your cable-actuated throttle body from your M52TUB28 and buy an adapter plate to allow it to fit.

I had an e36 325i and a 328i once and back in those days everything was far simpler, now there is a variation of a variation of an engine but back then you always knew a 323, 325 and 328 as they all had 2 tips on the exhaust anything less was 1... The 323 was a 2.5 engine but without the variable valve timing, the 325i had the variable timing and the 328i was basically 'strangled' (due to tax reasons or something). In fact you could tune a 328i not far off a 330i by putting the 325i inlet manifold on, (the 328 had the manifold from a 320i apparently) and removing the restriction in the air filter housing. but all of this was only a few horsepower, buy a faster car if you want power, or just enjoy what you got. I believe turbo kits may be available as they are for the e46 lol.. But you need to be sure what you have. If its a 320, then give up :-). I've been trying to make cars go faster for years and I've learned that anything naturally aspirated gains minimal amounts even if you chuck a lot of money at it

Eh?? you'd be lucky to get much more than 220bhp with a e36 328i, they were 190bhp standard if I recall?? so a few upgrades still wouldn't make it much quicker, so to beat a car with 100bhp more?? someone is telling porkies somewhere, or was the 328 supercharged? or the diesel was 90bhp really???Gassing Station | BMW General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
