Headlamp adjustment on E90
Discussion
I recently had the headlights in my 320d (2011) changed, as one had blown. Unfortunately the nearside dipped beam is badly adjusted and points about eight inches higher than the offside dipped beam - higher, in fact, than the main beams. I've read through the manual but have not found much to enlighten me (har har) on the subject of aiming the headlights correctly, either on how to do it or how I know I've done it right. Any suggestions?

When you say you’ve had your headlights replaced because one had blown I presume you mean you’ve had the bulbs replaced? If so just changing the bulbs shouldn’t make any difference to the alignment so I’d suggest the bulb that’s out of alignment hasn’t been installed correctly.
Yes, that's correct. I had both bulbs replaced. A bit of a fiddly job so I have considered that as a real possibility. Definitely worth a look, given that badly aimed headlamps didn't show up on its MOT, which it had just before I got the keys.Gassing Station | BMW General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
