Shipping a moped 300 miles?
Discussion
Has anyone done such a thing? Mrs Paolows mum (south coast) has an old Honda that she wants to give to a relation (Manchesterish) and given its not worth anything really, the professional courier companies are a bit expensive for what it is.
Has anyone had any experience with anything similar? Its 180cm long by 65 wide and 115 high (screen removed).
I did consider palletline et al though would really appreciate suggestions from anyone who has tried it before!

Get on shiply
I bought a mgb 60miles away and the trailer I was meant to borrow suddenly became in avaliable.
Posted on shiply what it was, where from and where to.
Then people bid for the job. Started at £130 then down to £114 in the same day. Over the next 2 days went down to £69 + £11 shiply fee.
Was picked up and dropped of the next day. Paid deposit online and cash on delivery. Easy.
It may well start - though it hasnt been for 2 years so it may well not go without arguing! It does roll/can be pushed though. Sadly we don't posess a car bigger than an octavia - and it won't fit in that. I just had a squiz on Shiply and that seems good? Ill get a pic of it and put it up - I can only try and see what the state of play is......I bought a mgb 60miles away and the trailer I was meant to borrow suddenly became in avaliable.

Bit worried it might end up quite pricey still - I might try courierexchange and see there as well...
