Hi all, after 14 years, the time has come to replace my old Spadas. I'm a short arse (27-28" inside leg) so I was wondering what boots are good and affordable. Daytona MStars GTX with the hidden inside heel look perfect, except for the fact that at 350 I can only afford to buy one of them!

Any alternatives? I prefer fairly plain high boots. I'll probably wear them under my Hood jeans.

Well I've just taken a punt on some M-stars on eBay for 150. Hoping they fit! I'm normally either 7 or 8 and these are euro 41 which believe is 7 n 'arf.

All Daytona boots go back to Germany to be fixed irrespective - I've used their repair service. Granted for just £30 saved I'd question it too. Savings were a lot more previously - I should know.
We're still in the EU for another couple of years at least but the brexit vote stuffed the euro exchange rate thats adding to the lack of savings smile

Seems the OP found some for £150 on ebay.. guessing they are used

Yup - been buying dead man's shoes! Well hopefully not. They were apparently used for a tour and not used since. I'll give them a good clean. For those that regularly buy Daytonas, how do the sizes compare? Would you recommend to buy on the small size because otherwise they'll be massive and floppy, on the large size because they'll cut off the blood to your toes, or are they fairly normal?
Good to know there's a repair service, I'm hoping to keep these a long time.

Might end up having to wear thin socks then! Well I'll keep my fingers crossed. If not - back on ebay they go!
