Datatool S4 C1 red issues
Discussion
Hi all,
Had a Datatool s4 c1 red on my Kawasaki since new (2007)
come out to it today to start it up with a view to going out on it for the first time for a while, pressed the button on remote to disarm the alarm and nothing. Turned the ignition on thinking the whole bike was dead and the alarm started going off but cant disable via remote.
the remote light flashes when I press the button, dug out my spare remote which was totally dead, so switched the batterys so the spare remote has the working battery but still nothing.
so now I'm thinking its the actual alarm that is having the issues, anybody had this before? cant do anything with the bike until I can disarm it as its stupidly loud.

I had an S4 C1 on my old striple R and to be honest I never had any issues. As someone else said I think the issues are generally down to poor installation.
Was installed brand new by DK Motorcycles in 2007 apart from the fact the battery drains very quickly its worked well.I had an S4 C1 on my old striple R and to be honest I never had any issues. As someone else said I think the issues are generally down to poor installation.
On a side note my car is above yours in the new V.W.G magazine
