Leathers

I've been left some money with instructions I'm not allowed to use it to pay any bills with...so I can get some leathers at last.

I've got £500 to spend. I really don't want to go above this (but most likely will knowing me).

There is such a selection I don't know what to go for. Or what I need to avoid brand wise.

Next issue is my size. I'm 6ft 4 and normally have size xxl tops (hover around 19/20 stone) which makes things tricky when ordering online. If anyone knows of anywhere in Dorset that I can try larger sizes on that would be great .

My Rukka jacket is a size 60...am I right in thinking I can get a size 60 leather jacket and it will fit, or is it worth going up a size? The jacket isn't too tight as lost a bit of weight since I got it.

Trousers are a bit trickier. Furygan seem to only go up to a 42 waist, which is what I am normally (sometimes a 40). But the reviews seem to be to go up a size.

Alpinestars seem to do a bigger size (44 and long), will they be able to work with the Furygan jacket?

Gone for Dainese Pony C2 trousers and the Racing D1 jacket. Did look at a Delta C2 but they don't have my size annoyingly.

Ordered from Sportsbikeshop as the free returns if the wrong size looked good.

They'll be delivered tomorrow some when, just annoy that I'm away until Saturday.

They've turned up today...

Trousers fit very well. Could do with being able to pull them a little higher, but still good.

Jacket is tight and a little short. Arm length is good, just in the torso. I'm hoping that losing a stone or so will help.

Very pleased with the service from SBS as well.

Now I just need a working bike...
