Finally have my mod 1 & 2 booked for the 1st week of Feb so have started to take a bit more of a look into what do get.
Having come across the following two, does anyone have much experince with them...

Thoughts? Would prefer the red and blue scheme to be honest but looks quite tidy?

SO after checking eBay and Autotrader I thought I would have a look on Gumtree, found this which the picture is taken about 5 mins from my house...

Looks quite clean? and in a preferred colour scheme.

Looks tidy and a good advert having scanned over it.
My missus bought a 2000 X registered version last year for £1450 IIRC but with loads of paperwork and recent discs with a few spares & a topbox.
It seems about on the money price wise and definitely worth a view if nothing else being as it's so close to you.
I enjoy riding her bike when I get chance, a very good bike by all accounts.
Cool, well there is the hole travel cost too so it being down the road is handy and looks clean, i've text and asked for the reg so i can HPI it and do a MOT history check too.My missus bought a 2000 X registered version last year for £1450 IIRC but with loads of paperwork and recent discs with a few spares & a topbox.

Seeing the bike Saturday morning hopefully.
I have found an old advert for the bike from google, but when you click through the link doesn’t work, anyone know a way to recover it/see the ad somehow?

Bought the gumtree bike. Good paperwork, nice guy, paid £1,550 for it and £197 to insure it on a classic policy!
Got 2 keys, original exhaust and a disk lock thrown in, well chuffed!
I’ll get some pics up tomorrow, only thing that’s needs sorting is relays for the indicators I’ve been told by a mate? Easy enough job I’ve been told just need to find the bits?
