Jorge Lorenzo has called an "exceptional" press conference today at 2pm with Carmelo Ezpeleta and all Spanish riders invited..

Almost certainly has to be retirement or at least some time away from Motogp.

Just remembered that Yamaha released Jonas Folger from the test role last weekend..

Lorenzo to Yamaha as test rider for 2020 then a race seat in 2021? Possibly replacing Rossi?

Zarco to Repsol Honda for 2020.

Alex Marquez is staying in moto2.

Nakagami’s already signed to LCR for 2020.

Sounds like Miller and Petrucci are switching seats.

Pretty excited about seeing the all new Ducati next week.

Michael Laverty yesterday. Said he’s been hearing things around the paddock.

It’s actually quite intriguing.
What if he gels with the bike and is crazy fast?

Interesting to see how Alex does.

Ducati have upgraded Avintia to satellite status.
They’re desperate to get Zarco on their bike.
Will be pretty embarrassing for Zarco to end up riding for Avintia given his comments regarding the team on Saturday.

Gigi has offered him the ‘19 bike he’s not going to get anything better than the very bike that came 2nd on Sunday.
Yeah I get that..

But calling them “not a top team”.. Lol

There not .

However if he gets on with the bike he could be like quatarraro , the rider/team out performing the factory bikes.

There was a thing on gp one with the Marc bds owner and he seemed totally fine with am moving into bigger things.
Yeah I get that too..

My point was that Zarco being so openly dismissive of the team then ending up riding for them anyway may be a little awkward regardless of Available machinery.

And a Ducati didn't finish 2nd on Sunday.

Alex rode his best season ever, deserved the title overall, however...

To win you need to have the machine underneath you, which Brad Binder didn't have until after the summer break. Best rider in the class got rewarded with the second worst bike in MotoGP, IMO. Alex has always been prone to clumsy mistakes (like Sunday), I don't see that changing.
Brad Binder has been astounding this season. Considering the KTM was a piece of kak for half of the season, his results since the upgrades have blown the field (AM included) away. To finish 3 points off the Championship is a real testament not only to his riding, but his grit and bike development abilities. Look at his results in the latter half......
To be fair, I've known BB many years and spent a lot of time on track with him and he is truly amazing. Throughout the tough times he kept his head down, didn't insult his team and worked to get the bike right often pulling more out of the bike than it should really deliver. Take note Mr Zarco........
Regarding Alex into Repsol, it's a no brainer. He'll play the dutiful brother to the main event and will slot in as the forelock tugging #2. No other option was going to be so deferential to MM and not try to upset the apple cart. Repsol Honda get a sweeper, someone who can fight for the additional points and act as a screen for MM.
Zarco. Absolute horse prick. Needs to learn to shut up and let his riding do the talking. He's achieved the square root of fk all in MotoGP but is slagging teams off as not 'Top'. Really?? And what record does he have to make such unprofessional comments? He did the typical French surrender monkey act at KTM but expects top billing based on no substantive evidence that he belongs in the big league. Frankly I hope he ends up back in Moto2 and disappears without trace. Zero humility, zero professionalism. And he's nowhere good enough to carry it off.
I agree with literally every word of this.

If he ends up riding for Avintia in the end after his comments it will only further cement his status as a total bellend.
