If he thinks he a road racer because of his NW200 exploits, he's in for a surprise!

I hope he takes his time to learn.
I'm sure he will. He's said in interviews that its a long course project.

"IF" Bournemouth Kwak turn up, Id expect Jimbo Hillier in the seat as well.
I think they will. They’ve signed Seeley for the North West so it looks like they’re doing the roads at least.

I have to say though that I’d be looking for a way onto a BMW if I were Hillier. Clearly knows his way around the place and is a smart rider but that BMW is looking like the bike to be on for 2020.

I wouldn’t blame Harrison if he wanted one either.

Next years whole BMW deal feels just odd, dont know whats going on there at all.

Lot of long time sponsor deals ending.
Yeah it’s very strange. TAS could be looked at as underperforming I guess.
Smiths only missed out on the senior due to a mechanical.

Yeah, what does he know eh? wink
I don’t think he was being condescending to be fair.

Retired?

He has ridden for them forever.
No. He’s been making noise for a while about trying something new.

Reckon he fancies a BMW.

Hillier on a OMG BMW is a very good shout
Seems likely doesn’t it?
You’d think Hillier would be looking for a bit more experience team wise BUT I’m sure OMG will have done their research and recruitment with that regard.

Smiths racing have switched to the Yamaha R6 for supersport duty on the roads next season. The Triumph is just a bit too old now apparently.

What do we think the chances of the TT being cancelled this year are?

I heard yesterday that there is a tentative plan to move the TT to August along with (or possibly instead of) the classic TT and Manx Grand Prix should they be forced into cancelling this years event.
