Failed my second attempt at MOD 1. First time was the figure of eight was too wide and today stopped a ball hair (three inches, examiner had to squat down to check) out side the box in the controlled stop. Slightly annoyed. That is all.

An update folks. Nailed it today. No minors. Chuffed. Reading the 'one lucky rider' thread though opens your eyes. I consider myself a good driver, class one police driver etc but as a new biker that frightens the life out of me!!!

So an update to this one. I got through my MOD 1 and have passed MOD 2 today. Battled wind and snow and got a couple of minors but I'm chuffed.

Just a reminder that there's a sticky on this sub forum about the process from starting to ride to getting a bigger bike once passed. You won't both now need to post a "what bike?".
Don't worry I bought my Tiger 1050 last year so I not be posting.

Thread resurrection!

Today I attempted my MOD 1 and....failed. I put a foot down during the U-turn.

What's really annoying is that I've been practicing them like crazy and have performed in the region of 30 successful U-turns this week....only for the one and first time I put my foot down being during the test. banghead

Anyway, ready this thread has made me feel better about my failure today.

On the plus side, really enjoyed the ride back from the test centre. Bikes are fun!clap
You’ll get there and it’ll be worth it. Seems like ages since started this thread but I’ve enjoyed my biking. Predominantly I commute but find time to get out and go for a blast and enjoy the bike. First run out since November today to get the Tiger MOT’d and I reminded myself how much I enjoy riding it.
