I know, I know. It's a Harley.
But.
I think it looks great! Really interested to see what reviews it gets and the price point.
Am always looking at GS's, CrossTourer's, etc. as my way back onto 2 wheels but this has piqued my interest! Anyone else?

Well it certainly looks distinctive .......the new 1250 liquid cooled engine looks like a good move though and replacement for the old V-Rod 1250. It would be nice to see Harley put that in a cruiser. They have been missing something with a bit of go in the range since the V-Rod ceased production and 145bhp out of the box would be a good start.
I think that is in the pipelineconkerman said:
MonDeus! That's truly awful! (To Me).
How about an MV Agusta Turismo?
Quite a high seat though, if like me, you have stumpy legs.
The SCS Clutch models interest me.
Honda have been knocking out an SCS equivalent for a few years now! Can't say the MV does much for me to be honest. How about an MV Agusta Turismo?

West Coast coming back to me this Friday / Saturday with a final cost. £2,000 deposit required to secure a place.
Anyone placing bets on cost? £22,000 I reckon. Which btw, means I am well and truly out.....
I'd be flabbergasted if it is was that much when a base GS is £13700. Wait and see I guess! Anyone placing bets on cost? £22,000 I reckon. Which btw, means I am well and truly out.....

So if the above is correct, they haven't done a bad job spec wise coming in lighter than a GS.
However, mpg is worse and tank smaller, so range would be affected. Having said that 51mpg with a 4.7 gallon tank is still good for 230+ between refills.
Power hasn't been quoted but was supposed to be 145hp which trumps the GS's 136hp, but it has less torque.
All down to the price now!

Harleys are not too bad on price if you look at the USD price and you are paid in GBP, whereas Euro imports like BMW are expensive in USA so expect it to be very competitive in the huge home market and will probably sell well.
By the time something in USD makes it over here, its never quite the same e.g. a new Corvette thats a relative $65k bargain some how ends up being over £80k
Will be interesting to see the UK pricing.

So the 'Special' with a base price of £15,500 can have all optional extras and still come in under £17,000.
That includes adaptive ride height, semi-active suspension, stainless steel laced wheels, advanced LED 'Daymaker' headlight, heated grips, centre stand, etc.
All models have 5 riding modes, with more advanced features on the Special. Good video here:

So no PCP offered. Base model bang on £14k on the road. Next model up which has 'wire' wheels and more colour options along with adaptive suspension £16,950 on the road. No discounts sir so either outright purchase or finance them at Harleys rates...
Can't wait to see one in the flesh.
