that would be great, im even thinking about the 749 to be honest as i need to free up a bit of money(hence why i havent bought a new car yet) for a business idea and am a couple of £k short, im not too worried about getting a different bike but realisticly my choices are: 2002/2003 Fireblade- had one already great bike, 2002/2003 R1-ridden one and liked it but dont think i want one, another CBR600RR-been there done that, or a 749/999 which ive been tempted by in the past but never gone out and bought, i cant see them been much more for minor services than a japanese bike but im guessing the cost of belt changes and valve adjustments mounts up?, what i do know from my brief go on a 749 is that thier very good handling bikes and now becoming very good value, im not too far from you i dont think, just on the outskirts of weybridge.

Well when i get the bike back you're welcome to look it over if you want. I'll let you know about the service cost too :fingerscrossed:

would be good to have a sit on one etc, from my brief go on one i remember them feeling really narrow compared to the R1 i had at the time, good luck with the service on saturday i hope theres no unwanted surprises
