I am an UK expat living in the Far East. Next summer several of us are planning a trip around Europe on our bikes. Our target is to be in North Cape Norway for Mid Summer eve. We are thinking of shipping the bikes to Harwich.
Draft Itinerary is,
Channel Tunnel, ride across to Germany, down the motor way to Munich, over the Fern pass into the Inn Valley up the Inn to St Anaton through to Switzerland, across to the Great St Bernard into Italy, back to France through the Mt Blanc Tunnel. Done all that in a car to no problem.

Then across Southern France and Spain to Gibraltar, across Spain to the North Coast, over to France, and up the west Coast. This is new to me any one got a good route places to see/stay etc?

The ferry to Plymouth then across UK Harwich ferry to Kristiansand in Norway, and up to North Cape. Again done this before as several of us have lived in Norway.

Final stage back through Sweden over the bridge to Denmark and ferry Esberg to Harwich, same question here any good route places to stay/see?

Also does any one know anything about temporary import of Bikes into the EU (Malaysian Registered.) We are all EU citizens but have residency rights outside the UK.

We are planning on 6 people, Bikes will be a mixed bag of Duel Purpose, Cruisers and Sports Bike

Appreciate any helpful comments.
Thanks
