Just to add my pence worth to the recent forum 'off topic' discussion which raised good points by all who contributed -

I'm happy with the information supplied by the club - well done Mark.clap You have always supplied me with the relevant club updates and information. Any email has always been promptly answered.

Unfortunately, 'many of the few' are scattered throughout the UK and those to the north are too far away for the southern events. I certainly would attend the NEC if the club has a stand.

Mark tried to persuade me to attend the Dunsfold event but time away and distance for a one day event was my reason to say 'no'.

I would prefer to save my time for the European event - this summer's event in Colmar, France was brilliant........52 carscloud9.
it was great to travel out 'in convoy' with the UK cars and the relaxing long weekend was conducive to club bonding and making friends. I clocked up 2750 miles and made many friends in the Euro Viper community.

As for Facebook....count me out - I prefer Pistonheads, a less 'cliquesh' site where I can follow all the other cars and topics that I find interesting.

[quote=Leatherman]Another few penny worth from me. I joined the Viper club 10 years ago and through it I have met many great people who I can now call friends and been on some wonderful events all over Europe. It is now with a heavy heart that due to the restrictions of the ageing process and as the oldest member I will be putting the Copperhead up for sale.
I still think this forum is the best way of keeping in touch so let us see it used more often.[/quote

Sorry to hear that... don't sell it too quick - we still have a trip to Italy and Corsica next year. I've already started to look into the ferries!!
