Hi all. Insurance increased by £21.

On the lift off, the dump valve keeps the turbo on boost so there's no loss of umph!

Who do you have your Insurance with? I ask the one am with now and they said No they would't Insurance if i got a Turbo or SC Upgrade on my Chim 4.0.

My Turbo converted Chim sounds slightly quieter overall, but the V8 rumble is deeper and meaner at idle / low revs. You can't hear it anyway once you're moving along - they always sound better stood on the street listening to them go past!
What route did you go down on upgrading the front brakes? Or did you just keep them standard. I am only running standard brakes on chim 4.0 , but with more BHP i think it would be wise to do so. i have be be looking AP racing, WMS Brakes, or Wilwood kits, or is there any other makes?

I only just got it back today. The power delivery is great. Plus it's still sound the same has before. That great V8 sound track. I will be coming down to the Neil Garner Open Day in it.

Chim V8 4.0 Turbo update
I've had some new bit's fitted to my car by Eann.
It's made the car better still. Now my car is great to drive
and no more jumping around. I can drive at 1000rpm at 30MPH in 5th gear no problem.
Plus when i press the loud petal. It's like beeing hit with a unlimited shot of nitrous gas for free.
The car pulls like a train, so much more power than my tuscan. it's a lot easy to drive as well.
Try and spot some of my new bit's from the last post in the photos.
