I have been quoted £2,500.00 (£1,250.00) per side to have my outriggers replaced. Is this steap?

I know some of you guys have had a body off chassis restoration. Could you advise of any decent places in or around the West Sussex area to have this done? And at roughtly what cost.

Car is drivable. Taxed, Insured and MOT'd.

I took it to a TVR specialist today to see what they would offer and they told me the outriggers will need doing and quoted me £2,500.00.

The offer they gave me for the Chim was so low it was a joke.

It would seem "down south" are full of rip off merchants.

I'm waiting on a local company to respond with a quote and if that fails then it would seem a road trip to the North is on the cards.

As always thanks for all your help Ladies & Gents.

Happy motoring to you all......

Spoken over email with Richard at southways automotive and will be booking the old girl in for a full chassis referb/repair in early 2013.

They do some fantastic work and their FaceBook page is worth a visit.

Thanks guys for pointing me in the right direction.
