Remote boot release

My remote boot release has given up the ghost. I've changed the batteries in the fob for known good batteries and no difference.

The boot opens fine if I push the button under the steering column.

Any ideas what could be wrong as I have zero idea when it comes to elcectrics and I don't suppose it helps that this is obviously an after market fitment as I don't think these came as standard from the factory.

The second key fob doesn't work either so I don't think it's a key fob fault.

The fob's have the brand Meta written on the back.

Look for a blown fuse, they probably powered the remote activation from a different circuit to the dash button?

Give that man a virtual pint for telling me (correctly) to check the blooming obvious.






Then give the man who put the fuse box there a kick up the arse!
