Non-stop wipers?

The wipers on my Chim are not behaving themselves, when you turn them off they will carry one for a fair while afterwards, they normally stop if I put it on fast speed for a few seconds first. any ideas ?

Thanks people, I will try the WD40 and if that fails get a new switch.

I had a look at the connector not much corrosion, but is appeared the connectors in the plug were not making in the socket, so I re-shaped them and it appears to be okay, gave them a dose of WD40 anyway.
