Suspect my airflow meter has given up.

Testing it it overshoots then takes ages to settle down.
It's on a 1999 450.
Nothing special going on in terms of modifications (act racing headers and racing cats).
Seems to be mucking up the mixture.
Very sooty exhaust, more thirsty than usual.

I've had a quick look around and the price of airflow meters vary wildly, obviously I don't want to risk a crap Chinese eBay version. What's the best course of action?

Hey I'm on the outskirts of Gloucester towards Stroud, but drive to london and back twice a week.

Definitely interested if you've got one!

Is that the landrover/rangerover one?

I'm running a standard map at the moment - guess it'll need a remap to run with that?

Drat - well it's definitely overshooting and then settling after a few seconds around 4.
The car is running rich can smell the fuel at the exhaust and some black clouds.

Looks like I'll have to source a 5am from somewhere.
