There is a group of at least 10 Cerberas heading to York to race each other on Saturday 30th September.
Can we get a group of Chims together and give them some stiff competition?

Its a real shame people cant get up to York. It may be the last chance we get to have a decent get together there.

Simon I might be down to Shakey on Saturday. Depends how I get on on Friday trying to sell my beloved old Rover Sd1 frown

I'm looking for another SD1. Had 5 previously and wanting to do another. Let me know.
Its a bit of a state if I am honest but I think salvageable.
Its a wide arch modified that currently has no engine, gearbox, interior, a dent in the rear offside door and a smashed off steering lock. Long story!
Good points, it still looks cool, has as good as new windscreen and a LSD.
Needs a lot of love.

The car sold! 😪

We have over 10 Cerberas, a Griff 500 and a Chim 400 attending upto now. Be great if we could have a few more along

Bump

The weather looks to be dry for the weekend. The cool air and the fact that York is much closer to sea level than Shakey and the pod will add to the bhp.

There looks to be at least a dozen TVRs coming now so would be great to see a few more.
Be there early Saturday morning or even camp Friday night. I will have the firepit lit and Chilli heated.

Its a shame because there is a very real possibility this could be the last weekend ever for York Raceway.

I suggest if anyone is in 2 minds to take the opportunity to come along.
It might be emotional

Don't let the weather forecast put you off, especially for showers.
York tends to have its own climate and if it does rain, the track dries fast end the FWD RWYB guys are sent out to help dry it up for us guys

As for the speeds we will see hopefully dangerous D will have the list soon
Yep bear with... grrr

Saturday was good until rain stopped play just before I was about to unleash the beast so to speak.
I did manage a 11.6 @ 122 but Barrie had number 1 spot with a 11.5 at a whopping 129

The track was slowly getting better through the day but all our 60 foot times were off.
I think there was a Cerb or 2 that could get close to running an 11 in the right conditions.

It was great to see a nice collective at York and great to meet more enthusiastic owners.

I must admit I loved that Barrie Piper beat all the Cerbs easily. Well done Barrie.

Its just a shame the weather let go about 3:30, I am sure times would have come down for all late in the day.

So lets do a roll call for Shakey 28th/29th October.

This also could be a last chance if the impending housing development gets underway frown
