Hard graft in a small space.
That rigger looks ok ish from here.
Seen any holes yet?
I’d be tempted to drop that right back down biggrin

Omg I forgot again.. I’ll drop that 20 to your account next week. yikes
You might need it lol.
Good luck mate.
Are you going to raise the body enough to roll chassis away.

It’s all off this morning the boys are turning up for the lift

They don’t look too bad at the moment but I’m sure they will be some holes

Base I did 4-5 years ago with top tips from Simmon

And am I right in thinking you made that blended base.
Nice whatever.
Cracking on nicely.

How easy did you get the body indoors with so few of you. Is the boot lid still on as that’s a job and half dude. Yorkshire muscle I suppose.

Looks like something off time team.
That’s about par for the course for its age I reckon.

Are you gonna strip the 4 corners off and take engine/ box out or just repair the riggers.

The main frame looks very good bar a few weld points but that’s only surface stuff.
Main is good
It’s all getting done including clutch and cam

Had an hour last night and pulled the pas rear corner off

Yeah it’s now like a motorbike to work on. Nice to be able to get around it easily.
I was lucky to use some truck sized axle stands x4 so I could get my chassis at a height I could sit on a chair and work on it.

Surely your car is a bit like mine as lots of it can just go back on after a clean up.
You’ve been modding it for years thumbup

What’s the budget wink
If I can do it for 4k happy days

I have to hand a rack full of the required steel sizes, metal chop saw, plasma cutter etc. But on outriggers with as much rust as I'm seeing here it is more cost effective to buy in the rigger kit.

Steve
Already got the kit off Brian Horsfeild along with just about everything else I need no doubt I will have forgotten something

Flying along. Mark every bag of bolts up. It’s much easier and requires less of your memory banks weeks or months down the line.
Is that Dif new or did you paint it in the past?
I can’t seem to get paint to stick without rust showing through in no time.
What paint did you use?
All bagged
Diff was rebuilt by Brian Horsefeild 3 years ago so it’s what he put on its getting some more paint before it goes back in
