Since having my chimaera, its suffered with the normal issue over no intermittent wipe and not returning o the park position when normal wipe is turned off.

So i ordered a new park sensor and that didnt cure it, i tried a new wiper arm today and that didnt do it, so unless i have done something wrong on the fitting of the sensor, which i dont think i have, as there seemed to be little i could do wrong, then i think it only leaves the motor itself at fault

Has anyone had this problem before? and what car is the wiper motor off?

Right, i didnt place the arms in upright (12oclock) so maybe worth a try.

trawling the net now, i found a parts list on parkersteve that say the motor is from a triumph spitfire, is this not right ?

will refit the sensor tomorrow in the hope that does it

thanks for the tips guys

As for the motor, thinking about it yes, it cant be that i guess. so it has to be the sensor i fitted, will look tomorrow again

right, update

took the sensor off, and laid it ext to motor as said, and nothing changed, nothing on intermittent, and when on full, nothing happened when i pressed the pin in.

Checked fuse in the footwell, and that was fine, BUT on my hand book, there is supposed to be a relay or timmer in with the fuses, but i have nothing in the space mine should be. where do i get one of these, and is there a part umber etc?

wipers are truly doing my head in now

cheers spend, tried one from an astra just now, and while it now parks fine, the intermittent still doesnt work. full speeds work fine, and it stops where it should all the time, just no int

checked that, and one side was off yes, so i bypassed the dial for now, as didnt have solder with me, and have connected the 2 wires together to make a circuit, but no joy.

Thank you for the help Spend, i was expecting stress with a TVr but no quite so early lol
