Loose door mirror - ??? Help please!

Hi guys, my drivers door mirror came loose on way back from Chatsworth and having read the Steve Heath bible I am still struggling to get to / find the grub screw to tighten it back up.

Any offers as to best way to do this????

Hi thanks guys, I need to repaint it anyway so sounds like best idea is to remove the whole miror and do it on a bench. Now the fun starts getting it off the car....

Thanks for your help guys. When it happened I took the speaker off and had a feel around only to find there is just fibreglass and a hole. Having got home and checked the bible i can see there is a tork screw so will try that at the weekend. I guess they used a jig at the factory which ment they could set it up before putting on th car....and the door trim would have been off....tried removing that some time ago and gave up ...

Will post any findings when i have a go tomorrow eve......

Hi, thanks, I did do a search but on Chims so will try again. I think Craigs pics and explanation are great so should be able to sort it....famous last words!!
