Hi,just an update on my previous fault.
Red warning light staying on,thought it might be the fuse link.Wrong.
After confirming that feed was on both spades at the alternator,removed the alternator for bench test and the rectifier was faulty.Replaced no bother and refitted,all ok.
Cost £53.

Hi jsr,
i thought exactly the same,the handbook states that the bottom red light is for the oil pressure warning light when in fact it is wrong.The oil pressure warning light is the yellow in the middle,the non charging light is the bottom one.This was confirmed by a simple test on the oil sender switch.Also i noticed on previous forum's that other lads had come across this misleading info.I was also able to confirm this with the previous owner.
