This morning I whisked the roof off for a frosty blast across town to work. Unfortunately the rear window seems to have developed a tiny pinhole crack in it where it folds due to the plastic being very cold. At some point I'll get a new plastic window stitched in but since the rest of the window is absolutely fine I wondered if there was some preparation I could seal the (tiny) hole with that won't be too visible etc. Anyone used anything? I don't want to put glue in as this will just go hard and cause further cracking I suspect. Any help appreciated!

Since the hole in mine is still tiny and doesn't cause a leak I haven't done anything yet. I'm going to research what professional repairs can be made. This time of year the roof doesn't come off so much so its unlikely to get any worse. I'll post again when I've done something I'm satisfied with....sorry to hear yours has the problem too....

There are times, no matter how cold and frosty, when the roof just HAS to come off! So I'm with you there.....

Hey Thanks, pitbull. Useful to know how much it was...did you get that done recently..? I think that's what I'm going to do at the next service. Since it doesn't leak and is barely visible I think I can leave it that long.
