MGB GTs - they can shift !

A pal has just bought a MGB GT so we headed down to Thruxton at the weekend with the families to see some of the MG club racing. Had a fantastic day and the racing was really exciting ( for us - my daughter was more interested in the ice cream van) . Thought you may fancy seeing a few snaps. He's now wanting to do a track day

Sorry no, my blinking battery was low so I only took a few. Great racing - it was brilliant to watch, must have been even better on the track !

If you're after another project GT let me know. The same pal is trying to clear one out of his garage. Shame if he ends up scrapping it.

400bhp from the 3.5 RV8 ? Wow ! I've got a 5.0L RV8 in my TVR and with fast road cams, electronic fuel and ignition etc, I'll be lucky to see 320bhp. They must have the nuts tuned off them !

Sure I've seen that, or one very like it, at Castle Combe although without all the aero. I only saw it for a second as it flashed past
