MGB Owners Club - Hampshire/Bournemouth

My best mates Dad has recently become a widow and he has an MGB.

I'm looking for some advice on decent and active groups in and around Bournemouth that he could join and ones that perhaps have "meets" and events frequently through the year?

Any recommendations, magazines, events etc would be gratefully received
