Early TF’s v later TF’s

OK, basically are there any differences between the original TF, and the ones that were then built later in the decade from 08 onwards by the Chinese.
Were the differences all cosmetic, ie, different front grill/piano black trim, etc etc.
Were there any upgrades, improvements in suspension etc.
