MGB head gasket

Hi chaps I’m after some advice

We have identified our 1976 mgb roadster has a head gasket leak.

I’m an average DIYer and am confident servicing , changing suspension etc but have never done anything like this.

Does anyone have any tips ? Iv got the head gasket kit , got a Hayes Manuel but would appreciate any words of wisdom before I dive in.
