MG 75 V8

Ooooh.... we can't wait to hear this

MG Rover Group gave their V8 saloon an official launch in Geneva this week. The Rover V8 incorporates a bespoke Monogram interior and is distinguished by a new exclusive front-end treatment with large grille, not dissimilar to that now employed by Audi but said to hark back to the days of the grand old P5B.

Under the bonnet, the flagship V8 power unit develops 260PS and 410Nm of torque. A major re-engineering of the MG ZT chassis has been completed allowing the power to be fed to the rear wheels.

MG Rover Group’s unique traction control system ensures that this considerable torque is deployed to good effect, whatever the conditions, whilst delivering rapid acceleration up to a top speed in excess of 150mph.

Prices haven't been announced yet.
