Hi all,

I have recently decided to restore my SR4 and get it back to the track. The car was bought on the 2011 from the UK and brought in Cyprus. I drove it to the track a couple of times and since then it has been sitting in the garage. I am planning to attend a couple of local races this year so i had to become competitive.

First i have changed the engine, from ZZR1200 went to gen2 hayabusa (stock for the moment) The ZZR1200 its being for sale by the way.

Ordered some larger Avons, from Dunlop 662 170 front and 200 rears to 046 Avons 195 and 250.

I am also working on building a new complete body, which is estimated to weight around 50kg less than the original body, i found out this after talking with some guys in Italy who race their SR4s on hill climbs. Their cars are insane, very light and very powerful.

My suspension is the one way intrax

I would like to start this discussion in order to get some RS4 owners to share their knowledge, exchange information and maybe even help each other with parts.

cheers
Antonis

I Agree on the exhaust/remap combo, factory throtle bodies are good for over 300whp, why spend so much for so little?

i am looking for some information regarding the suspension setup for the SR4.

I am planning to run the larger wheels and the car ir running on the intrax 1 way. I've seen people recommend removing the rear Nik link on some models, will it help on the SR4?

Also any information about ride height, suspension stiffness, camber, toe?

thank you
Antonis

I got myself a set of 195 front and 250 rear Avons, i tried on a rear and it looks like it fits, there are some points where clearance is a few mm but still works.

I think its the front splitter which might need some trimming.

Can you share some allignment data of the car when running the larger tyres?

Today i have modified the chasis in order to be able to remove the clutch cover, and inspect or change clutch parts without removing the engine.
