Hi guys removed side plate next to battery (passenger side) to reveal small compressor and air tank .usual qick connect hose goes from compressor to bottom air tank( brass fitment ) but cant find drain cock but can c with mirror 2 chrome allen screws 2" apart offset and 3 nuts to hold bracket to tank ..don't want to slacken (approx. 5mm ) chrome screws in case they could hold tank together or do I disconnect hose at bottom which doesn't have muck play ..or is there another drain cock elsewhere ?? id have thought there would b a safety blow off valve in system I await all ur replies thanks

thanks for sending pics ive def got pipe coming from compressor to bottom of tank !! but another guy has told me the 2 chrome 5mm allen screws are the drain downs ?? Cars on trailer so cant remove side pod ... my motors on rhs and mounted at top opp from urs

yes seems to b my mate says 2 5m allen screws are def for draining water which shoul b done every few months and RLM confirmed this as well

Hi Gordon,



See attached picture, the gold coloured item with the key ring is the air drain.



The water drain is the chrome Allen screws.



Tank is held together by the M6/10mm nuts.

drained the air tank this morning got some water out .... and it was the CHROME allen key screw .... chrome plated so it wont rust and theres a small rubber O ring to seal it ... something else ive learned thanks for replies
