Can anyone share information on the SR5? This car is a bit of a mystery to me. They appear to basically be SR3s with a Honda K20 Engine which sounds like a reliable combination. It is my understanding that only about 24 were built largely due to their high cost and slightly degraded handling compared to the SR3. I found some information on the SR5 in the attached links, but does anyone have any experience with them or have more detailed information? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I was hoping to hear from people that owned them or were exposed to them to better understand why they weren’t more successful. I suspect you “hit the nail on the head” when you said they weren’t particularly quick in the classes they were designed for (I didn’t know that was the case). I assumed that they would have been extremely reliable and a fantastic option for someone more focused on track days. But today I found the owners manual (https://radicalsportscarregistry.com/sr5-owners-manual/) and was surprised to learn that the recommended engine and transmission overhaul timing was every 30 hours. I figured the k20 would have been good for years.
I was also hoping to find out how many years they were produced...was it just 2007 and 2008?
Thanks,
Charley
