Having raced radicals for a good few years I’m in the market for another one for trackdays.
Narrowed it down to either an RXC Spyder with 650 bhp or an SR8.
I know the sr8 will be quicker over a lap and the rxc a bit cumbersome due to the extra weight, just
not sure which way to go !
Asking people’s views who currently own cars like this..

Dan,
I've had both the 3 rs and a 3 rsx just fancy something different this time around.
Leaning towards the rxc spider as never had one and with 650 bhp it's very tempting...

Hi Roger,
Yes I am getting to old but still feel the need for speed lol...
I am looking at an rxc tomorrow along with an SR8 to choose which one, my only issue is that I know the v8 will be quicker over a lap but I only intend doing trackdays with RMA so not really important for mega fast laps anymore. Agree with what you have said re running costs on both and yes, rxc seems the better bet right now.
I have 5 other supercars but don’t want to track them which is why I’m looking at the radical.
Hope you and your family are well.
All the best.
Tony.

And it will be less easy to see the RXC driver's red face when the SR3 driver is all over the back of it like a rash through the bendy bits.

IMO the RXC Spyder is a country mile away from being the Big R's greatest product, but as they say, each to his/her own.

Hope you're keeping well Tony .... been a while! Cheers, Trev
Hi Trev,
Hope you are well.
Drove the rxc spyder at donington and was out with an sr8 being pedalled by a current racer and i was closing the gap to him, really impressed with the rxc although it is heavier and more cumbersome than the 8 i know.
Massive power surge in a straight line which will catch any radical plus it suits me as i dont intend racing anymore due to shoulder arthritis.
Very pleased with my purchase though.
All the best
Tony.

Good for you Tony. Certainly makes more sense than an SR8 as a pure trackdayer, hence me mentioning just an SR3. Give me the heads up when you're next at Snett and I'll pop along for a catchup.

Cheers, Trev
Hi Trev, going to be at Snetterton on Sunday 24.11.19 with RMA trackdays if you are around ?
Tony.
