Ftype R 2WD vs AWD

I'm thinking of getting into a Ftype R and have driven the AWD version which was wonderful. My question is whether anyone has driven both AWD and 2WD or has any information on the differences when driving, the 2wd are around £7K lower cost all things considered (low 50's) and I wondered if they were better value therefore for the everyday driver?, thanks
