Having sold my M5 last year and subjecting my self to a 330d for a while I wanted a cheap ish fast ish sporty family friendly saloon.

I fell upon a 2009 xfsv8 at what must be a bargain price. These really do look amazing value compared to anything comparable from Merc or bmw.

So I took the plunge and bought it unseen and in driven.
So what should I expect ive had an old xjr (98) in the past and it was a nice thing in an old fashioned sort of way.

I'm collecting it tomorrow lunch time and I'm quite excited

So I'm home.

First impressions for some reason it feels massive and very very solid.

It's also so quiet it feels like your not moving. Even at full chat you have no concept of if your doing 50 or 150.

Averaged 25mpg on the 3 hour trip home so not bad.

It's got lots of toys to play with and the info system is much more user friendly then the M5 or e63.

This one has
Sat nav
Bluetooth
Heated and cooled seats
Blind spot warning
Reversing camera
Dab radio
And probably more.

The rear bumper has a little scuff and will need a paint as will the 20" rims but on the whole I'm very impressed.

Compared to the M5 or MAG it's a massive bargain and much more sutible

And to answer your question I don't think it will fit in a single garage.
