Looking at the F Pace for the next family car.

The petrol is too expensive for us to consider realistically so it'll be the diesel.

So is the 2ltr 180 HP Diesel the V6 engine ?

Interested to hear of 'must have's' spec wise and things not to bother with.

Will definitely go for the Sport pack or whatever its called that enhances the trim. Cheers

That's the 4 pot

Yeah sport pack (or whatever increases the alloy size and adds the body kit) is essential I reckon, looks a different car without it
Tks for the reply.

The 180HP car good enough you think? Sounds like that's will be the car 80% of people go for

Put a quote into carwow and see in reality how much more the petrol really is. For the 4k retail difference it may seem expensive but it may be less in the real world and the performance is much better. Even though the diesel engines are modern and not impacted by the recent backlash i would not be confident that the residuals will not be impacted. Petrol all the way these days.
I did say my next car would be petrol given the long term outlook for diesel cars so I'll look into it .
I went straight on Carwow and got all I needed for 40k ( 3.5k saving) and will try the other websites before I buy .

PCP is the way forward for many and I get the reasons why but as we do circa 18k miles per year I don't think it'll work well for us .

Really not sure what to do now petrol vs diesel .
Diesel engine claims to be more efficient that the petrol and the petrol car more pricey

It’s always the way 21s look the dogs but it’s at the expense of a crap ride. I would sooner go smaller and be comfortable
Familiar story with most cars
