'Check Pedestrian System' warning

Hi all

Have started to intermittently get the message below. Car is 2012 XK with 45,000 miles.

Quick bit of Googling suggests that it could be one if a number of things including impact sensor(s), crash sensor(s), faulty bonnet airbag exploding thingy(s) and weak battery. Seems fairly common but may have various causes.

Anyone have experience of this ?

Thanks all. Some useful replies. Car needs a service soon so will get Jaguar to check the code being thrown up in the first instance.

Funny how sensors suddenly 'go'. You'd think on a £70k car they'd have bullet proof sensors. I bet the sensors on Lexus don't fail so often !
