I was amazed to see the trip computer showing an average fuel consumption of 32MPG yesterday. By my reckoning that means that the fuel pumps are running slower when doing a constant 50 through the "road works" on the M1 than they do in stop start traffic in a jam.
It's a 5L convertible one, I normally average about 20 but rarely do long runs where it gets a chance to get into it's stride. Get it out of the garage, pop into town and back and I'll be luck to hit 10MPG seen that playing too
