2009 XKR 5.0 aircon problem

The aircon on the car doesn't work insofar as I don't get any cold air through it. The fans blow but it isn't cold, cold if you see what I mean.The windows tend to get misty too and hard to clear. I have had the gas checked and replaced so it isn't that, is there anything else that commonly goes wrong with the system?

Nope, it did a week or so after but then stopped working again.

It has a leak somewhere. No point re-gassing it, you'll need to find and fix the leak first. An a/c specialist can do this with fluorescent dye.

Weirdly had a friend recharge it a few weeks ago and it has been A1 since, maybe the leak mysteriously fixed itself. Unlike last time the read out was the system was empty before he refilled it.
