My washer jets are pretty poor with a minimal dribble when you activate, I think this is the design but are there any aftermarket alternatives, different jets etc?

They work really well when correctly functioning. Time to get at the pipework and take apart. It is usually the black right angle non return valves that just block up .

This happened on mine, it was the pump inlet filter that was blocked. Black gunge builds up in the washer fluid tank and accumulates on the end of the filter. You'll need to remove the pump to clear it off, and ideally take the whole tank out to clean the inside. Happy to post more detailed instructions if you are going to attempt this yourself.

Mine was the same, pump inlet choked. You could try emptying the fluid reservoir and have a garden hose blast at the filter as a stop gap...but the inner wing liner off and access is easy then.

Thanks for the tips, its just a bit weedy, doesn't cover the screen when it sprays.

It's not designed to cover the screen, they spray the fluid where it needs it for the wipers to wash the screen effectively. That said, you can adjust the nozzles themselves with a very small, flat screwdriver.
