Heres a good one, had a message come up on my cars computer saying my ariel needed cleaning!!!!!! WTF!

Looked in the manual and it does say to lubricate the ariel so as to ensure smooth operation....sounds strangely familiar, anyway it neglects to mention what fluid to lubricate it with and I have no immediate need to go to Jaguar and be charged for something I could buy cheaper at Tesco's.

Any thoughts on what to use?

schueymcfee said: Apparently alcohol wipes do the trick, then the message goes away. Dont use, WD40 it's basically diesel fuel in a spray can designed mainly to keep moisture away from electrical contacts and does attract dirt out in the open. If your aerial is dirty use rubbing alcohol and wipe from bottom to top.

Cheers!

Doh! I've just noticed that - Aerial, how remedial of me!!!!!!!!

Perhaps I should have changed the heading to Jaguar Daz Cleaner!

Sent you an email JH not around on Saturday, off Sunday. Will hopefully be looking at a Yellow Griff 500 too next week though.
