Just bought Audi A8 4.2 D2!! Some problems though help!

Hi all, So ive always had BMWs over the years, still got my newly restored e36 M3 GT (wouldnt part with that!) and have just bought my old Audi back from a member of my family (i had it about 5 years ago when it was perfect) and it now has some odd issues.
Its a 1996 Quattro 4.2 V8 but its currently a V7 running without a cylinder. If i loosen ll coilpacks and lift them up slightly whilst the car is running i can hear the clicking noise of them sparking but on number 1 cylinder i have no spark/noise. Ok, easy fix just a coilpack? Wrong! Didnt cure it, nor did swapping over the one from cylinder 2. So, it seems i have a problem with the plug/wiring that goes to it. Any known wire problems for this issue?
Second issue is the blowers dont work at all. The climate control lights up and so do the dashes on the fan speed but no fan. Have read somewhere if it has the solar sunroof its the module on the steering column? Can anyone shed some light please?
Lastly, i remember from whn i had the car last the interior would never get that wrm from the blowers. Seeing as i cant test this at the moment is the anyhting common for this issue? The two pipes that pass throuh the bulkhead are both hot BTW with car running/
