Roll up roll up! Let's see if this one has legs (!)

Anyone else get in on the insane lease deal? I'll be interested to see when (if!) they start turning up and how we all get on with them.

As VW were so kind to honour all our deals I thought let's have a thread. It's feeling a bit real now as my order has moved to stage 2 of 7. How's everyone else getting on?

I tried last Thursday. Rang the VW dealer processing my order and they told me that VW were honouring the price as quoted. I was free to make any changes to the spec through my broker but the price would then be renegotiated based on the current price.

I politely declined wink

So it's Billy Bob Basic 190 DSG for me in Uranu Grey. The only thing I fancied adding was heated seats but I wasn't all that fussed tbh. The standard spec seems pretty good actually.

Has anyone seen or even sat in one? I found one at the 3rd dealer I tried (Sinclair Newport) and I have to say I was impressed. Didn't drive it as it's a display car in their showroom but very nice inside. I've been trawling YouTube and the net and haven't seen a bad review either which is encouraging.

Good interior review soupdragon, matches my thoughts on the seats really.

In answer to your question it's the latter. You wouldn't just be paying the cost of the paint extra, you'd be paying that as well as the uplift to the current 360 odd a month price.

Cheers Ray will check out that Amazon link.

I'm going to be covering it with a 3rd party seat cover anyway just to protect the seats from dirt/expensive damage so I don't really care what they look like. Function over form ;-)
eek

Don't do that Ray. Just, don't.

Mine is 3+23 @ £119.99 plus £239.99 in agency fees so £3359.74

That's for a battleship grey dsg with no options... delivery week unknown and I'm not rushing to find out as the later it arrives the cheaper it may be for "my brother" to buy in 2 years time...
5k with NVS? Same as me almost, although for some reason my prop went through at 6k and 128pcm and they couldn't change it.

Oh Ray, last bit of advice before the handover. Don't bring that heated pad in with you.

Nope. No understandy. Need pics.

I suspect the boggo spec is like tealight candles right? Just halogen efforts?

Been told it will be delivered either to my home or place of work. Hopefully on a transporter but the more I think about it the less likely this will be.

I've enabled email updates on the vw website as I'm hacked off with pressing F5 on the order processing page. Still stage 2/7 mad

I've got no problem with the colour at all. And besides, its another 550 quid to change it. If it was a keeper I might give a st hehe

The white non metallic is quite cheap, £200 odd and I think it would really lift the car and for me personally, I would be more than happy to pay that. The kerbside appeal between white and urano grey is quite a big difference in my view. When I get out of the car at home or in a car park, I think the white would give me that satisfying 'look back' feeling as I walk away which I don't think I'll get from the Urano Grey that I have ordered.
White is impossible to look after. No thanks!

I asked both the broker and the dealer. Both said no.

Actually that's not quite right. Rather, both said yes, but the price then needs to be recalculated on current rates.
