Tiguan noise when moving

I have bought myself a three year old Tiguan, it's a Diesel 4motion with DSG.

It has a noise like a fan that only happens while moving, noticeable at about 20mph and gets a bit louder the faster I go.

It doesn't change with the engine revs or different gears, also turning left or right makes no change to the sound.

I thought originally it was a noisy fan but the noise is there even if the blowers are completely off.

Is there anything else I can try to pinpoint the noise? It has two months warranty left so I may have to get it looked at if I can't sus it out.

Thanks, i'll get it booked into VW, would you expect it to be replaced under warranty if it is the centre bearing?

Car is under it's three year warranty until late December and has 40K miles.

VW just called, after inspection they have diagnosed a prop shaft centre bearing

Hopefully I'll get the car back on Monday.
