High Mileage Mk5 Golf 2.0 TDI - Issues?

Hi all,

I'll be looking at a Mk5 Golf 2.0 TDI (140) to buy soon. It's a 2005 car on 110k miles, so fairly high mileage. I've read a lot of bad press about the 140 PD engine - what should I look out for in particular at this mileage?

It's well serviced with 12 service stamps in the book.

I've just found a very early (Feb '04) 2.0 TDI, but in the pictures it has a 5 speed box. I thought all 2.0 TDI's were 6 speed?
